Trapper is a graduate student in the Turcotte lab studying the evolutionary and ecological processes that shape how organisms adapt to changing environments. His work utilizes experimental evolution techniques to explore how phenotypic plasticity influences adaptation and species coexistence in dynamic ecological contexts. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Dickinson College, where he studied the evolutionary consequences of domestication in wild yeast.
