Rachael Kramp

  • Post Doctoral Associate | Kohl Lab

Rachael Kramp received her Ph.D. in 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Stephenson at the University of Pittsburgh. During her graduate career, she was awarded a Gilliam Fellowship through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.  She is currently working with Dr. Kevin Kohl to study the dynamics of the microbiome in infectious disease and animal behavior.  Rachael is fascinated with how infectious diseases have shaped animal behavior and evolution, and exploring the role of the host-associated microbiome in mediating these interactions.
