Jocelyn Stahl

  • Graduate Student

Jocelyn Stahl is a graduate student whose research centers on intercellular signaling, with a focus on understanding how cells use solitary cellular extensions, called primary cilia, to coordinate complex biological processes. She is particularly interested in the molecular mechanisms that primary cilia use to regulate signaling pathways and their function throughout diverse cell types and physiological environments.

Alongside her research, Jocelyn is passionate about mentoring others and learning, emphasizing collaborative learning and the use of analogies to make complex scientific concepts more accessible and engaging. She aims to foster inclusive learning environments where students can build intuition and confidence in challenging topics.

Jocelyn earned her A.S. in Computer Science from the Community College of Beaver County and her B.S. in Biology from Westminster College. She is a recipient of the prestigious NSF GRFP Fellowship, recognizing her potential for significant contributions to scientific research.
