"The importance of timing in ecology and evolution"
The timing of a species' interactions with its abiotic and biotic environments plays a critical role in shaping both ecological and evolutionary outcomes. In this talk I will present experiments with aphids, nectar yeast and fruit flies that reveal the role that timing plays in shaping species' ecological and evolutionary responses to climate and competition.
