Pitt 2011 Huntington Award Winner Corey J. Rodgers Named 2012 Rhodes Scholar

Corey J. Rodgers was named one of the 32 Rhodes Scholars nationawide, the seventh Pitt student ever to receive the title.

Rodgers' degrees in progress include a BPhil in Africana Studies and History and Philosophy of Science, and a BS in Biological Sciences with a Chemistry Minor.

The Rhodes Trust will pay for him to attend Oxford University in the United Kingdom next year along with other Rhodes Scholarship recipients.
